Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and Bobber refined the line of PID motorbikes family.
Jakarta, 27 September 2016 – Having served the market with excellent two-wheel products range and services for the past five years, this year is the year for Piaggio Indonesia (PID) to mark and reaffirm its commitment to the market. Commemorating the Moto Guzzi 95th anniversary, PID brings the latest rides: Moto Guzzi V9, with its two variants: Roamer and Bobber.

A novel mid-size custom bike that embodies the authentic, prideful, purest spirit of Moto Guzzi, the V9 series completes the big family of motorbike range under the Piaggio Group. Comes in two variants, V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber, each of them has their own distinct style as well as character and price-tagged at IDR 492.500.000 and IDR 516.500.000 off the road. Both V9 bikes are also equipped with a standard advanced two-channel ABS and advanced traction control integrated with the electronic engine management system and adjustable in two different levels of operation which can be deactivated, ensuring better grip of the rear tyre on any road surface, reducing engine torque through a reduction of the engine. The extensive catalogue of accessories includes the Moto Guzzi Multimedia Platform, the multimedia platform that connects a smartphone to the vehicle to provide an exceptional quantity of useful information for the journey.

V9 Roamer is available in three different colour variants, all with glossy finish, Giallo Solare (Solar Yellow), Bianco Classico (Classic White), and Rosso Rubino (Ruby Red). Consistent with the V9 series, with the signature V-shaped engine designed to withstand the test of time. Classic and elegant, V9 Roamer is a perfect partner who long for seeing open skies even between skyscrapers. V9 Roamer riders perfectly understands that going slow doesn’t mean wasting time, but to savor every moment in riding through the beloved country streets. This is due to a comfortable and relaxed riding position in the long padded saddle. It also exhibits the unique architecture of the new 850 twin-cylinder, 100/90 and 150/80 front and rear tyre, as well as new wheel rims (19″ front and 16″ rear) and painted in matt black and treated with a diamond-cut finish. The V9 Roamer is a true mid-size light motorcycle, for people who love and know Moto Guzzi motorcycle culture, also those who have always loved the design of custom motorcycles, but have never bought one because of the weight and poor handling of almost all models in the sector.
On the other hand, V9 Bobber is available in two colours, both with a completely matt finish: Nero Massiccio (Solid Black) and Grigio Sport (Sporty Grey). Talking about Bobber means talking all about substance. It is lean, athletic, and proudly minimal. Bobber is where classic and modern styles live side by side in harmony, fully knowing that authentic values never go out of style. Bobber also differs from the V9 Roamer with its more crouched and sporty riding position, guaranteed by the low drag bar painted black and the long, lowered saddle. The matt black rims, along with larger tyres (130/90 front, 150/80 rear), 16” front and rear tyre, as well as distinctive design, the bike still maintains characteristics of exceptional riding pleasure and handling. It is unquestionable that the V9 Bobber is a true Moto Guzzi, and as such does not trade rideable-aspect for beauty.
