Jakarta, 22 February 2016 – After successfully touring several cities in Indonesia in 2015, PT Piaggio Indonesia is taking the show back on the road using MotoPlex as theme. MotoPlex is “The Home of the Piaggio Group Brand”, a concept store and window to the future of the Piaggio Group. Piaggio Motoplex 2016 exhibition series kicks off at Mall Kota Kasablanka on 22-28 February 2016 and will also take place in Surabaya, Bandung, Denpasar and Bogor throughout the year.

“We had so many wonderful feedbacks from visitors of last year’s exhibition series that it only make sense for us bring back the event for a second year,” said Marco Noto La Diega, Managing Director of PT Piaggio Indonesia. “To show our appreciation, we also included Aprilia and Moto Guzzi to the lineup of products to be featured in every exhibition this year. Accordingly, more people can have a first-hand experience with all of these great products that we carry.”
Moto Guzzi, a brand with more than 90 years of history with authentic Italian passion and excellent performances, comes to Indonesia market in with four models: V7 II Racer and V7 II Stone, Audace, and California Touring SE. The new V7 II 750cc (available in two versions: Racer and Stone) is a completely new bike, more powerful, faster, thriftier, more ecological, better refined and more comfortable than the previous version. Ostentatious, muscular and fierce, the 1400cc Moto Guzzi Audace can be picked out immediately by its front end, made stylistically lighter by the circular headlight unit and the carbon mudguard mounted on a fork without any telescope covering. Lastly, the Moto Guzzi California Touring SE 1400cc comes as the modern custom cruiser unique blend of tradition and innovation. It is made with the rigour of form and function, combined with a typically Italian aesthetic sense and expression of attention to detail.
On the other side, Aprilia has always been a point of reference in the motorcycling world for the development of the most important technological and stylistic innovations, as well as for its absolute domination in racing results: this unique experience has allowed the brand to win an astonishing 54 world titles, 38 of which in MotoGP and 7 in Superbike. Aprilia. In recent years Aprilia has completely revamped its product range, offering award winning models such as the V-4s superbike RSV4. Aprilia RSV4 evolves to continue being the best superbike ever, and has established an absolute technological leadership. Piaggio Indonesia brought in two Aprilia models: RSV4 RR Race Pack and RF Super Pole. Unmistakable in its design lucidity and applied technology, the RSV4 is conceived around a 65 degrees V4 engine never before seen on a factory sport bike. The RSV4 is also enhanced by the most modern applied electronics systems to manage the engine and bike’s performance.
To celebrate the kick off this year’s exhibition series at Mall Kota Kasablanka, Piaggio Indonesia also feature a lineup of “legends” produced by the four brands: Vespa, Piaggio, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi.
